Offers

Hi, I’m Martha.

I’ve spent much of my life working with people through seasons of transition, stress, and growth. I’ve supported biological families, foster families, and foster children, including families connected through refugee care, and I’ve also partnered with churches to equip and care for families during times of need. Along the way, I’ve enjoyed mentoring young adults as they navigate important decisions, relationships, and life direction. I also love learning from people of different cultures and hearing their stories, which has shaped how I see and value each person’s unique background and experience.

About Martha

Most of my background centers on working with people in helping roles across various settings. I’ve worked closely with families navigating significant life changes in complex circumstances. I’ve also collaborated with churches to strengthen their care for families in transition. These experiences have shaped my belief that people thrive when they are seen, supported, and connected to caring relationships.

Counseling Approaches Used in Martha's Work

I bring a relational and practical approach to counseling, drawing from evidence-based models while staying focused on the person in front of me. I enjoy working with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, stress, relational strain, and life transitions. My goal is to help clients feel understood while also moving toward meaningful change.

Beyond the Therapy Room

I have called Greenville home for over 20 years. My husband and I moved around early in our marriage while he was active duty in the Army. People describe me as warm, steady, and intentional. I genuinely enjoy meeting new people and learning their stories. I am energized by connection and find meaning in walking alongside others through both difficult and hopeful seasons.

Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, and traveling. I have been married to my husband for 27 years, and we have two adult children and one teenager. Relationships are central to my life, and I value both deep conversation and simple moments shared with the people I love.
