Brad Jones
Brad specializes in helping couples understand why they keep having the same fights, build the skills to change the pattern, and feel close again.
Hi, I’m Brad.
I’m glad you’re here, though I know something in your life probably feels hard enough right now that you’re looking for help. Much of my life and work has involved coming alongside people in difficult seasons, helping them feel supported, understood, and better able to find a way forward.
About Brad
Before becoming a counselor, I spent years starting and leading businesses, building teams, and helping people through high-pressure situations and major life changes. I also served in pastoral roles, where I spent a lot of time with people facing grief, relationship struggles, questions of faith, and other hard seasons.
That background still shapes how I counsel. I tend to be practical, steady, and curious about what is really going on beneath the surface. My goal is to help people understand what is keeping them stuck and make changes that actually improve their relationships and lives.

Counseling Approaches Used in Brad's Work
My approach is relational and practical. With couples, I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help them understand the pattern they keep getting pulled into, what is happening underneath it, and how to respond to each other differently. I also use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) when it makes sense to work more directly on thoughts, behaviors, and specific skills.
Beyond the Therapy Room
When I’m not counseling, I’m usually spending time with my amazing wife and our four kids. A lot of our family life revolves around youth sports, and I’m also very involved at church and enjoy being around friends, neighbors, and our large extended family here in Greenville. I love playing sports, laughing with people about just about anything, and getting competitive over family card games, especially Hearts! I’m also fascinated by new ideas and love talking with people about the future and what they’re excited about. Our two older kids are at Clemson now, so I enjoy visiting them there and sometimes catching a game.
