Jennifer Davis, LPC/A

Hello, I’m Jennifer.
Watching a client move from a place of disconnect and brokenness to strength, empowerment, and joy is what keeps me passionate about my work as a counselor. I love being a part of the healing and growth process in the lives of others.
Background
Counseling individuals, couples, and families is not just a profession, but a passion and a gift. The path to become a counselor was preceded by working alongside trauma-affected youth and families. My husband and I have parented over fifty children through foster and adoptive care. These experiences taught me to see challenges as opportunities to grow and adapt. I have spent time overseas assisting with Disaster Relief work in Chile, Leadership Building in Mali, West Africa, and Assisting Sex Trafficking Victims in Baltimore, Maryland. As time went on, I developed a love for seeing the transformation in the lives of others through consistency and evidenced based methods of change.
Experience
- Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (South Carolina)
- American Association of Christian Counselors
- M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Liberty University
- B.S. in Psychology
I have prior experience in an outpatient practice and inpatient setting, providing me a solid foundation to understand how to best serve my clients. My previous work centered on working with trauma affected children, teens, and families. It is my hope that every client become deeply rooted in their identity and value while growing to meet the challenges they currently may face.
Personal Qualities
Outside of my time with clients, I am a wife and mother to four children. Our story of adoption has been one of our greatest adventures and has kept us busy for the last few years. Our family can usually be found playing at the lake in the summer, hiking trails in the nearby mountains, and playing volleyball in the backyard. My life is centered in my faith in Christ and His redemptive grace and love. As a South Carolina Native, it has been nice to live in other cities and states but nothing is as great as being home in the Carolinas. We love raising our family here and enjoy serving our community.
